Technology is evolving rapidly every day and sometimes schools must try and combat getting the proper technology for the classrooms or schools. Since technology is a large part of the world, it belongs in the classroom as well. Teachers and students are impacted by technology. Integrating technology can be helpful but creates risk because of all the problems that technology can cause in different grades. Looking at how technology has changed through the years is dramatic†¦. Today’s 5th grade students already own smartphones. Usually all the cell phones, computers, and tablets that are in the classroom can be distractions because what students are able to get onto during the school day. Finally, we’re having teachers that are ready to use technology in the classroom (Clayton). Technology has not only advanced in classrooms but also in online education. Public education enrollments in online classes are exhibiting the classic signs of disruption as they have skyrocketed from 45,000 in 2000 to 1 million today. Virtual Schools from 2006 to 2009 the numbers of students it served in its virtual schools grew from 20,000 to 55,000. Connection Academy, advanced academic KC distance learning, insight schools and many other significant for-profit plays in the same space as well. Most of the kids that take online classes are just logging on from their bedrooms, but other get into the courses on computers in the community centers of gyms or private tutoring companies. THESIS: Due to the increase of technology the varying ages of children see the use of technology in the classroom differently. EFFECTS: Distracted Learning: Not learning correctly, Imporvement: There’re 28 states that allow students to get their degree online (Mangu-Ward para 35).
